While I look for a job that doesn't make me feel like I'm a factory worker (not that I have
anything against factory workers, but fuck, I didn't get a 20 grand a year education for shit like that) I decided to take a look at what's coming up this season in anime. I figure it might help my interest in anime not go completely belly-up.
Here's a small portion of what's going on, what I might take a look at, and what you may also like to give a try.
Title: Hakushaku to Yosei
Studio: Artland
Airs: Sept 28th
Trailer:
[Ooooh, pretty...]

Summary: It's 19th centuray England and a young lady named Lydia, also known as The Fairy Doctor, meets a young man, Edgar Ashenheart, who just happens to be the count of the Blue Knights and lookin' some sword or other. Romance, adventure and a strange anthro-cat ensue.
What?: Mostly Edgar looks like Tamaki from Host Club. So right there that'll get a lot of your little hearts pattering happily after I bet. I'm in it for the cat. He reminds me of Neko-sensei a bit from Princess Tutu (which you should watch purely for the strangeness of it all). I assume that it'll be about Fairies/magical beings, seeing as in the trailer some young-stud forces himself upon her and she realizes he's hurt (hence the doctor part?). It's looks pretty enough anyway, and brainless.
( And the rest... )At the moment I'm watching
Bounen no Xam'd (Xamdou) [fucking great OP song] because it looks like a Ghibli film and it has the bio-mecha thing going for it. If you watch the OP-I'm in love with the guy with the sword. He
rocks.
I've abandoned pretty much everything else, including
Vampire Knight (its second season is starting soon) which I should continue watching, since I can't understand what's happening in the manga. That reminds me, if you have any suggestions for manga (and anime, even though I'm too lazy to watch most of them) I would greatly appreciate your input. I would like probably anything, even dumb shoujo.
